Here I go again. ;~)) ;~))

Fascists are my enemies whether they claim to be American citizens or not. Fascists are not for freedom they are for the globalization of the world. They want the marriage of corporations and business, because to them business is the government we need.

Never forget that when someone says it is not personal it is only business, they are setting you up because they think that the money is more important than you. It is always personal, because if you chose money or politics over the well being of people you have chosen to make some suffer for your political views.

There is a reason the Government was formed separately from businesses. Businesses are not people they are organizations whose goal is to make as much profit as it can.

There is also a reason that "religion" and Government are held separately. God cannot be contained by man. Man views "religion" as man's way of reaching God and therefore wants everybody to do it the way they think it should be done. Jesus Christ is God reaching down to us and saying we cannot reach God without Him whom He sent. We don't do works to make us acceptable, we are acceptable because of His works we accept through Him. So to try and say the Government should control which belief system we are allowed is to try and make the government our God, and to say that those in Government alone know the truth.

That is the system of the Anti-christ. Where all people will be swept into the one world religion believing that all ways are acceptable to God, making Jesus Christs Way just one of many. Denying that He alone is The Only Acceptable Way to God's Kingdom.

I will stand against "conservatives" or "liberals" whose ideas of life are that of controlling other people for their benefit.

Jesus Christ never preached our way. He said to follow Him and His Way. His Way is the Cross, and we either choose to die with Him on the cross and accept that He is Our Lord and Savior, or we choose to continue on in a life of the flesh trying to justify beliefs that are not His.

So for all of the people who wish to follow their ideas of Jesus Christ and claim He is good with it. Go ahead, I prefer to go with Him in His Way, which is narrow and involves following Him, not men, or women.

We already have Fascism in this nation, the sad thing is that people from both sides of the political spectrum are involved with it and don't see themselves as such. Reasonable people can reason beyond their own needs and see the larger picture. Self centered people whose lives revolve around them getting what they want at any cost cannot.

All people try to justify their beliefs, but He is the only Justification accepted by The Father. So to hate people based on their political or social or "religious" beliefs is to try and justify ones flesh as being more acceptable to God therefore more worthy of being a leader in their eyes.

I hate certain behaviors because , I've lived long enough to see why they should be hated. I've seen the wars, the destruction, the cold hearted turning from those who need His Love just as much as we do. I don't hate the people who do those behaviors because just like me they have a right to their beliefs and to live as they will as long as they harm no others.

I hate their behaviors because in the short term they seem like the right thing to do. The people profit from it and feel they are on top of the world, that they have been rewarded for their behaviors or beliefs. Long term the rewards turn into decay, and the pleasures they seemed to enjoy are now the very things that hold them down.

Muslims ?? They are just some of the ones who are being shown as being ridiculed. How many different religions claim their beliefs are the only beliefs that are valid ?? Now how many of those religions say you have to earn your way to heaven ?? Now how many of them say it is okay to kill for their "god", that to kill others is the right service to God ??

Now how many actually know what Christ taught and how He said man cannot earn his way to God the Father, that it is a gift. It is His Grace that we are kept free in, not our works.  Haven't we seen the loss of the freedoms in this world for what they are ??  The lies of men and women wishing to be in control, because they think they have all the answers and no-one but them has the real way ??

I've lived a less than perfect life, and while I do have some political views that I believe to be true.  One of the major things I've learned through all my errors in this life is to look for the Truth.   The truth that I'm seeing in America and around the world right now is we are not good at allowing people to live as they will, we are very good at projecting onto others our beliefs of living well, and what they need to do in order to be acceptable to us.  But we are not good at showing people through our own lives and our own country how to do it.

What do you think needs to be done ??

Bush Sr. spoke openly about the "New World Order" and no one payed attention. It just seemed like colorful language used to emphasize a point but the architects of control have been designing and implementing a system of global domination for decades.

Cowboy-grandpa: Winthrop's Meredith, The Turd, (friends) here. Over the course of my lengthy stay in this dimension, I have observed that, as a rule, "Liberals" are rarely Fascists. Sloppy, unkempt, absent-minded, compassionate "do-goodies", and, perhaps, even a little naive. (Of, course, you and I aren't. We are of the All Seeing Eye).

Conservatives and the new finagle basement mold organization that springs up everywhere, the Tea Republicans, are, but, don't seem to know it border line FASCISTS.

They advocate the combination of Church & State, combining business & government into a form that would place business over government; support tax breaks for billionaires and contempt for America's "Huddled Mass," passing out from hunger in the doorways of the super rich.

What are we to do with these misguided, young and full of themselves FOX TV created hate groups?

I got back late last night. To much good Italian food and good company.

Thank you for commenting and offering your views.

So correct, Bush Sr. spoke of it and people did not pick up on it. Part of the reason I did not vote for him again. (Yes, I voted for him in '88) Also another reason I did not vote for another Republican again for the Presidency nor for a congressman, senator. I have voted for them locally as I can see what they have done, judges and D.A.'s.

WintropeMerideth, The III:

Yep, I agree liberals are rarely Fascists. I couldn't be a Fascist if ya paid me for it. I guess by your definition of liberal I would be one. :~)) :~))

Conservatives, Yep again, with this disclaimer- I know some fine minded "Real Conservatives" who abhor what has been done to the Republican Party and what direction the Fascist's who have stolen their party are taking them in.

The combination of the church, state and business, is absolutely the one world government warned about, look around at all the nations who are trying to do it. The chaos it brings will usher in the time of the anti-christ.

We have to pray for all the people to have their eys opened. The message of the devil is being fed daily by many in the media. Look at all the ads saying that this will satisfy you, or you need that to be completely happy. Mix that in with the politics of control, self righteousness, and throw in religiosioty and ya have the party of absolute blindness.

I just wrote an article along the same lines. People don't get it, they want to control our thoughts, so they can enslave our bodies. One can only inevitably lead to the other, no matter which is initiated first.

Government and religion, two sides of the same coin. Both using the power of fear to gain control. Once control in place, each compete to take it from the other. Their means and aims are the same, and so it their goal. Government IS religion and vice versa, besides the fact that they're both businesses.

Religion and government are opposite. Too much government(Socialism/Communism/Fascism) produces fear and control. Religion is a part of our American freedom away from too much government. Government IS NOT Relgion and religion is NOT goverment. Religion is not business. Business is controlled by government when government gets too big. You liberals overlap every thing don't you? Thank GOD I just seperated it for you again. Thank God for my conservative education in public school before liberalism infested our once great public educational system. Idiot.

Hmmm ??

Did we forget to address each other in terms befitting a fellow viner ??

Sparrow: I don't see government and religion as two sides of the same coin. I see the government as being in place to make sure all are free to practice whatever faith they choose as long as they harm no others in the process.

I see business being an enterprise that provide needed goods and services in exchange for a profit of some kind in order to be able to invest and continue providing said goods or services.

People call me a liberal, I guess I am to the extent that freedom means more to me than money or power. God is the most important in my life, so all things for me radiate out from Him. That includes wanting to do as He says to do and to help those who need help, not to worship money, power, sex, drugs, politics, ... or any other thing, because those are things which are a part of life. He is life.

I was following along fine until you put this in there. So you think the government should not control business at all ?? Is business your god ?? Or have you not read the New Testament where Jesus Christ warns about the fool who thinks he has so much and is smug in his wealthy riches ?? He doesn't realize that, that very night he will die and all his gain will be for nothing.

I received that same public education as you did, but then I have also studied the Bible to see where conservatives and liberals have inserted their own values into the system. Greed is not good nor is trying to make all people worship as you or I do. God gave us the freedom to choose and none of us have the right to deny anyone that right to choose who they will serve.

So as far as you thinking that being a conservative makes you right. Hahahahahahaaaaa !!! That is like a woman saying she is right because she is a woman, or a man saying he is right because he is a man. Self serving but not very enlightening except to show the narrowness of the thought process.

Business or rather economics and the control of capital and the means of production have always been the primary drive for those in power. I believe it has been about control for a long time (maybe even forever). The privileged few with power seek to control and maintain control over the majority. Political ideology and religious dogmatism are merely tools of centralization of power and the cover of corruption.

what makes you think if someone has a better product than you, they should feel guilty for "CONTROLLING" capital? Let the market decide where capital goes.

Religion is not the reason for centralized power. Too much government and liberal political ideology is the reason for centralized power. Wake up!

sealdemerc, like most conservatives your view of the market is far to simplistic and ideological. There is a reality that exists in which "better products" are made and "better ideas" are put forward but are suppressed by capitol owners to the benefit of existing inferior products and ideas. The idea of the invisible hand of the free market is a myth. Markets are manipulated and controlled all the time and it is by both private and public interests.

Any ideology taken too far (religion, conservatism and liberalism among others) is dangerous IMO. I tend to think of politics (among other things) like a game of chess. Not sure if you play and I'm not all that good at it (rusty) but whenever my opponent makes a move, I tend to ask myself WHY he made that move. I think if more people asked themselves that question whenever the government, corporate powers or religious denominations made an edict, we'd have far less corruption and a populace that is better informed, enabling them to put a stop to destructive legislation no matter where it comes from.

There's my two cents for what it's worth. Good article, cowboygrandpa. I enjoy your writing.

Government is already to big. We need to get back to the Constituion. This was writen and made law when government was for the people by the people. Some ministers are out of line also. They are the ones who are after money and not souls. There is right and wrong in both the government and the religions. Until we get things back in order, I see nothing but trouble ahead. Let's get back what we before and let go because of things we just ignored.

It is very simple. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul, then love your neighbor as yourself.

If we really loved your neighbor as yourself we would have dealt with the slavery issue when we wrote the constitution. If we really loved our neighbors as ourselves greed would not be our God and the financial system would have taken care of all the foreclosure issues in a loving way. If we loved our neighbors as ourselves we would have a healthcare system that wouldn't cause families hardship and bankruptcy.

Just a thought to get back to the core of why we believe what we believe.

For me, I'd stand solely for God's Government, the one we pray for in the Lord's Prayer. [Matthew 6:9, 10] Jesus separated his followers from Governments. He stated that his Kingdom was no part of this world and in prayer he asked his Father to protect them from the world. John 18:36; John 17:14-16.

Why do I say this? Because I honestly, from the depths of my heart, do not see man capable of cleaning up the mess we are in today. Revelation 11:18; Jeremiah 10:23. But what can God's Kingdom do? Jesus while on earth, demonstrated some great promises in store for all who wish it.

Think about what Jesus did while here on earth and know he'll do all this in his Kingdom.

He healed the sick; raised the dead, calmed the seas, fed the hungry. He gave instructions for us to get a long with each other, teaching us tender compassion for the lowly one and even our enemies. If we were to be citizens of God's Kingdom, we needed all this to clean the earth of greed and violence and immorality. We were to apply what Jesus taught. Think about if we all acted as Jesus had demonstrated while here on earth! Why! we'd be in paradise! Psalm 37:9-11, 29]

KElane: Perhaps, you could share this insight with the Tea Republican Religious Nuts who are on a mission to return "America to its Christian Roots," or to the Conservative Republican Christians that want to put the Ten Commandments on every public building in America so that they might have a change to read it.

Separation of Church and State is a fundamental principle of the Constitution and one in which fundamentalist seem not to apprehend.

    Cowboygrandpa,

I have already written a reply to this article, but as I was getting ready to close my reply and post it, my browser shut off. I hate when that happens. So I decided to write this reply using the Text Edit function of my computer, which independent of the browser. If it shuts off again, I won't lose anything.

This time I will start at the end, since that is freshest in my mind.

You asked, "What do you think needs to be done?" I think we need to promote good hearts. There is a reason Scripture states that God judges the hearts. It's what is in our hearts (or minds) that dictate our actions. If we treat others in a bad way, that means we have a bad heart. But if we are good to people, that indicates we have a good heart.

I once wrote an article called, "Christian Communism." I think you can probably imagine the responses I received from conservative Christian capitalists. You would probably agree with them. My opening statement was, "The economic system of the body of Christ is communism." I quoted Acts 2.44&45, and Acts 4.32&34 as proof text.

It was argued that pure communism can't work. It can work where men have good hearts. Any economic system controlled by men with evil hearts is going to be evil. Just consider the current state of capitalism in America, especially now. Do you think the greedy capitalists that own big department stores care that people have been trampled yesterday over shoes. Greed does not come from a good heart.

People with good hearts do nothing intentionally to the detriment of others, no matter what economic or political system you are part of.

Overall, I think your article is quite good.

There is an underlying reason for the problems you point out in your article, which I haven't seen you approach. Keep in mind, I haven't read the whole thread yet. Healthwise, I've had a rough week. So, from Sunday to Wednesday I wasn't on the computer at all. I had the worst backache in my memory.

Back to that underlying reason. The history of mankind is replete with imperfect people trying to understand a perfect God. When you think about it, that is at the root of many, if not all, of the world's problems.

Religion is at the root of all the problems in the Middle East. Israel has one concept of God, and Islam has another. Here in America there are many concepts of God, from Catholicism to Calvinism. From those that believe that God is a big giver like Santa Claus, to those that believe that God is this big ole meany who will squish us like a bug if we get out of line. Some people are so passionate about their concept of God they would go to war with anyone who disagrees with them.

That is what I believe is the root cause of the problems with humanity that you did a good job at pointing out. But I must challenge you very first statement, "Fascists are my enemies whether they claim to be American citizens or not." It is my view that fascism controlled by men with good hearts wouldn't be a detriment to anyone. And if we promote good hearts, that would solve the problems you have with it.
