Conservative or Liberal ideology, neither of them is perfect and that is why we continue to have the battles we have.

I actually favor a blend of them, which would place me more center than right or left.  That said I can't stand conservatism or liberalism.  To back either as the perfect answer is to place all of ones eggs in one basket, so to speak.  We know what happens if one drops the basket right ??  No eggs at all. 

Now I'm a vocal defender of freedom of choice, and I esteem freedom as being the right of all peoples.  Because to me when my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died on the cross He took our sins with Him.  When He was resurrected from the dead we rose with Him from the grave free of the chains of sin through Him if we accept Him and what He did for us.  So since I'm His and all are freed in Him, I cry out to all who will hear that conservatism or liberalism is not the answer.  It is the way we live on earth because we cannot live as we should.  We are trapped in these fleshly bodies that cause us to desire the things of the flesh, so we seek those things in which we find pleasure for a time.

But after a while those things become empty and are just ways of distraction from the ongoing battle.  We may then become focused on politics as the way to solve our problems.  We begin to believe that it is the other guys fault we are not happy and satisfied within our lives.  We look at what they want and believe it is keeping us from what we desire, because they are asking for something we don't want to pay for, or they are trying to restrict us from something we think we deserve to make the decision about. 

It is always about them or us, rarely is it about we.  But lets really look at who benefits from all the division and anger.  Is it we the people of this nation or world  ??  Not as I see it.  As the lines in the sand become more rigid the wars become more hostile.  Look around and see who is doing what and who is gaining ??  Is it not the same people no matter which party they are part of ??  So why do we as people who are pretty much in the same boat think they care about us ??  Do they really ??  Some do, I'll admit there are some wealthy people who reach out and help.  But they are few, and most seek only to play the game of who can get the most wins.  Well I honestly would not want to win what they win, because an eternity of remembering how much earthly wealth one had, is not going to be satisfying without the Love they really wanted.

I really believe that people need to get past the lies of the fake "christians" whose idea of Chritianity revolves around the the things of the flesh.  We need to realize that all they doing is helping to divide us and bring about the hatred that Christ said would be present.  So liberal or conservative it doesn't matter. When we align with Him, we will do His work and He will be glorified and people will know us by our fruit in Him.  I'm not seeking to be glorified by any, for whatever works I do are from Him when He receives the recognition.  He is glorified through His work in me, by the changes He made and the person I've become in Him.  So when I speak out it is not for my personal gain.  It is for His gain and glory that all may see that He is able where we are not able to bring His light into the world and allow people to see.  Politics-I believe are truly of the devil- in that they are used to divide and conquer in the same way he did to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  Deceiving people into believeing that the way of our thoughts will make all things alright for everyone if everyone just believes as they do.  Thus the beginning of politics the great divider between us, because we think that either conservatism or liberalism is the answer.

I would just put it like this.  If you are a believer in Christ you know He died for all of us and expects us to accept His Way.  I have not seen the evidence in the Bible where He favored conservatism, nor liberalism.  I do see where he liberated all of us from sin which was constraining us from having fellowship with God the Father.  In other words he didn't conserve our sins, nor did allow them  to continue in a liberal way.  He Liberated us in Him and said He is the Way not a political party.

Just the way I see it.

I don't want the conservatives to think I hate them, because I don't.  I just think their understanding is not in line with Him on certain matters, just as liberals understandings are not in line with Him on certain matters.
