From the beginning in Genesis we are told that satan has his seed on this earth. We are also told that Christ will come from the virgin, as there is not mans' seed in Him but the Holy Spirit of God in a woman who has not known a man yet. Genesis 3:15
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel."
From the Bible study:
3:15 enmity between you and the woman: This is not just about snakes; it is about the enemy of our souls, Satan. your seed and her Seed: The language is ambiguous, but still contains the promise of a child. The term seed is exceedingly important. It may be translated offspring (as in 15:3) or descendants (as in 15:5, 13, 18). The term may refer to an individual (Gal. 3:16) or a group of people. This means, among other things, that Eve would live-at least for a while. The Seed of the woman is the Promised One, the coming Messiah of Israel. Seed continues to be used throughout the Bible as a messianic term (see Num. 24:7; Is. 6:13). The meaning of the phrase your seed as it applies to the serpent is uncertain (but see John 8:37). The reference is ultimately to Satan. your head: This is sometimes called the "first gospel" because these words, as indirect as they are, promise the Coming One whom we know to be the Lord Jesus, the Messiah. The Lord was showing mercy even as He judged (see also 4:15). Bruise His heel speaks of a serious injury, but it is contrasted with the bruising of the head-the defeat-of the serpent's seed. When Jesus went to the cross, He was bruised in His heel. That is, He suffered a terrible but temporary injury (John 12:31; Col. 2:15). In His resurrection, He defeated His enemy. From that moment on, Satan has lived on borrowed time. He is already defeated; only the announcement of victory needs to be given (see Rom. 16:20).
From the beginning we are told of His coming, to defeat satan. All through the Old Testament there are promises of God delivering us through His Perfect Way. We are shown the Laws given to Moses. Even while Moses was receiving the Laws the people were sinning against them. The Laws are the mirror we look into to see that we are not perfect and acceptable to God. The Laws show us of our great need for Him to save us.
People post the Ten Comandments as if they follow them and are better than we who know we can't and know we need His mercy and forgiveness. Though we may know the Ten Commandments, we can not follow them and many do not know them by heart yet still claim they want to be judged by them. How foolish is a pride of the flesh, when the flesh dies and we are spirit returned to our Creator, to be judged or rewarded for our lives lived here on earth ??
Yet many do just that and I'm not just talking about people who don't claim to believe. I see people profess a belief in Him, and then deny one the help they so desperatly need, because they feel like to help the poor is to encourage them to be lazy. I'm not talking about the lazy ones who won't work either. I'm talking about the ones who work but can't afford health care, or decent food for their children. Because as Christ said the poor will always be with us, but He wouldn't. I see now that He was saying that, while He was still here the poor remained among us and that He wasn't here to change the politics but to change the hearts and spirit of men and women to that of loving God more than money or any other material consideration on this earth. I didn't understand that, because I remember he said that He was with us until the end of the age.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
He is saying He has already won but the times must go on until it is His time to return and rule as the King of Kings He truly is. We on the other hand must continiue on in sharing His word and Love so his Truth is known. By our fruit you will know us to be of Him.
So you see there are those who are the seed of the devil. They are of the spirit of the anti-Christ who worships all things but God in Christ. For they do not know Him, and they are not able to see from their dark perspective that Christ is He Who is able to free them.
Jesus Christ said those who are His hear His voice and come to Him. He is calling you can you hear Him ??
I'm of Christ and He is my Master. I Love Him because He Loved me first and died for me while I was still a sinner, knowing I would come to Him and repent in Him and allow Him to change me into His Way. Instead of me trying to comform Him into my way of the world before I really understood Who He is.
Our sins are forgiven in Him and we rejoice for the gladness of His mercy forever. We no longer die in sin for an eternity, but die to the flesh and allow Him to bring us to life in His Spirit.
That is why I share with all who will hear. We were once dead in our trespasses, but He forgave us of them in His death and resurrection.
This is not shared to condemn, nor to bring hatred. It is shared with His Love for all who will come to Him.
I thank You Lord Christ, for all who come and hear your message. May their hearts be opened to You Dear Lord, and may they be filled with Your Love and The Holy Spirit. In Your Holy Name Jesus Christ I ask and give thanks. Amen.
