They put their right wing in and pull their right wing out, they put their right wing in and they shake it all about. They do the Hokey Pokey and they turn themselves around and that's what it's all about !!!
I was watching home movies of my childhood days, and I watched as my parents had filmed my kindergarden class do the Hokey Pokey. Great fun for we kids. I didn't realize then that it is the GOP/TP dance of their religious beliefs. But it is clear to me today that the GOP/TP do a version of the Hokey Pokey when they try to bring their ideas of "christianity" in as their moral system.
To begin with the Hokey Pokey was fun but accomplished nothing except entertaining a bunch of people. That is how I see the religious rights religiosity. They are having fun entertaining a bunch of people, but in the end it is just entertainment. It does nothing to help we the people.
Mitt Romney did the Republican Hokey Pokey. He said 47 % of the American people depend on government hand outs so they won't vote for him. Yeah he put his big mouth in and he shook it all about. He did the Hokey Pokey and turned himself around and said that's what it's all about. Of course Mitt didn't say how many conservatives are in that 47 %. Or that oil companies, corporations, and the wealthy are in those numbers as well. Nope Mitt just played the GOP/TP Hokey Pokey game hoping to distract and entertain people.
Then we had the 40 GOP Senators that played their version of the GOP Hokey Pokey by voting against the bill that would help the returning vets from the Iraq/Afghanistan wars with funding for jobs training and work. They put their patriotism in and then pulled it out, put it back in shook it all about. They did their Hokey Pokey and they turned themelves around and said that's what it's all about. You see to them it's all a dance and a game to entertain and deflect.
They have no real moral convictions except what will give them what they desire. They play games with we soldiers lives then deny us compensation for what was done. They play religious Hokey Pokey, offering verses then pulling them out by their behaviors, saying them again and shaking them all about so everyone can see them. They do their Hokey Pokey and turn themselves around and say that is what God's all about.
We have the right wing haters who burn the Koran and cause deaths, because of their religious Hokey Pokey. They put their hatred in and pull their hatred out, they put their hatred in and they light it all about. They spew it forth as love,when hate is what it's about. They do their Hokey Pokey and put soldiers in the ground, that is what it's all about.
You see to me beliefs are something you are willing to die for. The GOP/TP doesn't have beliefs they have propaganda. They are willing to make other people die for their ideals.
They speak lies about loving freedom because they want to restrict personal freedoms while allowing business to have no rules. That is not freedom nor is it free enterprize. That is the law of the jungle where only the strong survive and are considered worthy to be listened to.
That is a Hitler like society, where jackboots trump decency and nationality and skin color are the dominant factors in deciding who lives or dies. We are so very close to that again it sickens me. Just like Hitler the GOP is branding liberals, communists, homosexuals, different nationalities, and a variety of other social traits as being the reason for the problems, while trying to say they are religious and follow God. Just like in Nazi Germany they have a following of uber conservatives, and ignorant people who do not recognize the danger of their insane ideas.
Insanity is desribed as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Why is it the people can't see the conservatives saying over and over again tax cuts for the wealthy will fix things ?? Yet when it is tried we end up in a worse position for most people. Now if that is not a picture of the GOP/TP insanity what is ??
How about wars to end violence ?? The war on terrorism ?? Really ?? Really ??? Since the "war" on terrorism has started millions of people world wide have died . Terrorism has not been weakened only spread out into cells world wide. Why ?? The Hokey Pokey dance again. They put death and destruction in and they pull it out, they place it back in and they wave it all about, they unleash wars world wide and shout we are showing Democracy and dance all about. They murder and kill innocents turn themselves around and say look what you brought about !!
Is there any wonder then that the world at large looks at the Hokey Pokey dance of the GOP/TP'ers and sees them as unfit, and has decided they will not join in with their stupid little dance anymore.
I have tried to see how the Democrats are as bad as the GOP/TP'ers as the GOP/TP'ers say they are !!! I can't !!
When I honestly look and examine the facts as well as read my Bible I see the GOP/TP'ers-those who ascribe to their virulent brand of insanity- as dangerous. They are a danger to the truth and to the peace. Not because of their beliefs, but because they are willing to impose their beliefs upon others and kill for their beliefs. Much like the radical Muslims will.
We do not need that in America, or anywhere else in this world.
That is the way I see it !!
