Why do the conservatives lie about believing in Jesus Christ and His Way ??   Do they really think they are fooling God ??  Or is it that having given up on their souls for the things of this life they serve mammon so completely that they are unable to see it ?? 

I'm really beginning to believe it is the latter of the statements.  They are so intent upon serving mammon that they have no clue they have walked away from serving Christ, if they ever did.  Even the pastors in the churchs deliver their messages with a twisted materialism when they say vote for the conservatives because they are for America.  They don't seem to see there are two Americas, the filthy deceiving America, and the America that God Blesses.

They want us to vote for the filthy deceiving America, a picture of Egypt in the Old Testament.  Intent on her wealth and power, she made slaves of God's people and tried to force their beliefs upon them.  Now some of the people went along with Egypts ways because they didn't know God anyway.  They became like the Egyptians and worshipped their false gods and idols.  They decided that Egypts ways were their ways.

Egypt prospered under Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his brothers, but Joseph was blessed by God was put there for His reasons and not his greedy brothers reasons.  It was through Joseph, by God's gift to Joseph, that the Pharoh's dreams were interpretted and the grain was stored and Egypt survived the years of famine.  Josephs family was also saved by this as they came to Egypt when their land was also afflicted by the drought. 

You may say what does this have to do with conservatives and America ?? Well the Jews were very conservative in their beliefs, believing in the traditions starting with Abraham.  Yet the brothers of Joseph thought nothing of selling him to slavers for their own gain and to rid themselves of him.  They thought nothing of the pain and sorrow it caused their father and the years of suffering endured by Joseph.  And in the end their dealings brought them under the harsh rule of Pharoh's who did not know Joseph and the Way of God through him.  So the Jews went through 430 years of bondage and misery under the Egyptians.

Genesis 37:12- 50:26  Exodus 1 -14

Now we have people in America who are like the brothers of Joseph who would sell us out and lie about it.  They claim to be very devout, and they are very conservative not wanting to change at all.  In fact they always want to return to the old days.  Don't they realize that the old days were before Christ ?? 

Christ is the New Testament.  Without Him there is no New Testament.  Without Him there is no forgiveness.  There is no Temple where we can go to offer the sacrafices for our sins.  Nor are there Rabi's who can forgive us, because they are not cleansed either, because Jesus Christ ended it with His death and resurrection.  We are cleansed in Him alone.

So why is it the conservative right wingers want to keep going back to the law of Moses as if they are somehow justified through it ?? 

 Because they can't accept Jesus Christ as The Way !!!  They have to keep trying to add their flesh to His Perfection and in doing so they want we who are in Christ to follow them !!!  To somehow walk away from Christ and accept their way as being better than His Way !!! 

It is the way of all false religions just as it is the way of politics.  Because politics and false religions are one in the same to me !!!  If you can get peoples eyes off of Christ and onto man's way you have delivered them into the beliefs of their own flesh over Christ's Way.

Oh, I know that won't be popular at all with many people.  Because many people want to believe that the politicians follow God. 

Let me state this so it is understood by as many as He will have understand it.  God does place rulers over us for His reasons, it is for our good in Him that He does it.  He shows through those He puts in place where He wants us to go, and where He does not want us to go. We follow the leaders He placed over us and only reject their rule when the rulers go againt God's Way.  Then we are to follow the Way of God .

Just as He appointed Saul as the first king of Israel when they asked for a king, and knew Saul would lead them astray from His Way, He allowed it anyway so the people would see how foolish it is to follow a man instead of following Him.  Even king David failed in many ways, he repented and suffered much for his failings.  Yet he was forgiven for king David had a great Love of God.

Do you wonder why I use Old Testament Books to speak of Christ ??  Because the New Testament is the revealing of The Old Testament through Christ.  The Old Testament shows why we need Christ and how God's plan for Christ's redemption of us was in effect before Adam and Eve even existed.  For God knows the beginning to the end.  He is not restricted by time as we are. 

Are you starting to see where the conservative's fail to grasp the Way of Christ and keep running back to the old ways of sacrifices and works.  Trying through their own flesh to make themselves worthy and thereby declare themselves the equal of Christ !!!  To say they are able to save with their ways ??  They say don't worry about  what God says.  They are telling you what He said, they know because they are special.

Yet when confronted with His Word they cannot defend their actions or beliefs.  Because He said in John 14:6

⁶ Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

So though they may say they know Him and His Way, it is evident by their love of the flesh and the love of the ways of the world they do not.

Matthew 13:18-23  The parable of the soils explained.

¹⁸ "Therefore hear the parable of the sower: ¹⁹ When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. ²⁰ But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; ²¹ yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. ²² Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. ²³ But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

I think many of the conservatives are shown in verses 20-22.  Their behaviors in politics, business, the love of wealth, the defense of self righteous behaviors, the legalism and the rejection of Christ as their True Leader are shown daily in their lives as they try to justify paying low wages to people who work to support themselves and their families.  In doing this they try to break the spirit of the poor and make the poor worship mammon as they do.  They say they own the way to pleasure on this earth, and all one must do is submit to their way. 

When they defend sending the work overseas thereby lowering the wages of all in the world, so they the few can have more, they show what they love, and it is not their neighbors.  It is the power of the dollar and the control of peoples lives that the sick enjoy.  When they cry about the taxes they must pay, yet cheer for the deaths of the uninsured because they could not afford health care.  When they say those who are unable to work anymore and have paid into social security are receiving entitlements-because it sears their souls they cannot steal that money- they show who they worship.

When they support wars for profit, thereby trading the lives of those Created by God for their desire for wealth.  They prove who they are aligned with.  It is not Jesus Christ, but it is His enemy.

When they deny health care as something not being Biblical, I wonder how they interpret these verses in Luke ??

Luke 10:29-37

²⁹ But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" ³⁰ Then Jesus answered and said: "A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. ³¹ Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. ³² Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. ³³ But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. ³⁴ So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. ³⁵ On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you. ³⁶ So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?" ³⁷ And he said, "He who showed mercy on him."

 Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."

So again I ask.  Why do the conservatives lie about believing in Jesus Christ when they show they don't ??
