Democrats, we need to unite and and send a message to the conservatives this election !!!  That message needs to be clear and it needs to speak to the conservatives who have failed to see the lousy job they have done over the last 40 years in showing leadership and guidance skills !!!  At least that is the way I see it.

I have wanted to be a conservative, because being a conservative meant that we cherished the freedoms we had.  Not in the last 40 years it hasn't.  Being a conservative became being a greedy person who cared more about personal wealth and controlling other peoples lives, rather than making sure that the freedoms of America were preserved for future generations.

It seems now, that being a liberal means we cherish other peoples freedoms, and want to stop big business from controlling the decisions people make in their personal lives.   Big business has been trying to take over the government since Eisenhower was in office.  They have slowly done it since Nixon was in office.  Ever wonder why Ike didn't like Nixon ??  He knew that Nixon was in with the ultra conservatives who would one day destroy the very freedoms so many have died for us to have. 

I think the message we need to send is if being a liberal means caring about your neighbors,  treating and loving people as you want to be treated and loved, then YES we are liberals and proud to be liberals based upon those ideals. 

I think we need to get past the lies of the conservatives who say they want to preserve America !!!  They want to take America back to the days of slavery and the rule of the wealthy over the good of the nation.  We were warned that corporate run government would not be acceptable.  But we allowed the conservatives to fill peoples heads with lies about tax cuts and making the poor work hard with no gain for their labors.  The poor have worked hard and gained nothing except worse poverty and abuse as the nothing they gained is laid at their own feet for being to lazy to do better.  When in reality it is the wealthy who have not worked hard for what they have.  Most of the wealthy have made other people work hard for the wealth the wealthy have gained.

They have made laws that favor the wealthy.  They have denied laws that level the playing field, and allow the poor and middle class to actually have a say in how this country should be run.  The voting rights the GOP/TP conservatives are trying to limit show just what the conservatives are really all about.  They want to control the laws because if they don't, they won't have the upper hand.

Don't let them fool you, by saying they will take their money elsewhere.  They already have, I think the message should be to them, where your your money is so is your heart so go there !!!

Lets not tap dance around, and try to say they are anything but unacceptable in their current modus operandi mode !!!  They have not created jobs with the tax breaks they were given except over seas.  They have not worked to make America the great nation it once was, they have in fact tried to make it their own version of Fascist Germany, by trying to take away the freedoms of individuals while claiming corporations are individuals with rights.

The conservatives have tried to steal the Name of Jesus Christ as being what they stand for.  Having investiagted what they really do.   I find no eveidence that they follow Him as a group of people, and in fact see that they on a whole have little understanding of what is preached in the Gospels  of Christ.  So I'd like for them to stop trying to say that once you have Christ in you you automatically become conservative.  That lie chases many away from coming to Christ as they don't want to be anything like the hypocrites they see claiming Christ as their Lord.   While saying the poor are lazy, the wealthy are the ones God favors, and their sins are far less than ours !!!

1Timothy 6:17-19

¹⁷ Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. ¹⁸ Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, ¹⁹ storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Yeah I know some people don't like Bible quotes.  Well a lot of Democrats do believe, they just don't want to be associated with the right wing nut cases who show nothing of Christ while seeking to say they are of Him.  Besides of which, freedom for all means we who believe enjoy the same fredoms of those who don't believe in this nation.  Take that away and you are the same as the conservatives with the only difference being which side of the coin you are on.

So here is another one that might shed some light.

1Timothy 6:3-10

³ If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, ⁴ he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, ⁵ useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. ⁶ Now godliness with contentment is great gain. ⁷ For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. ⁸ And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. ⁹ But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. ¹⁰ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

You see the conservatives don't want to focus on these things because the passages show them for who they really follow.  They want to present themselves as being without blemish or spot, but are instead stained a crimson red  in their lust for the things of this world and the power to get what they want even if it hurts others.

I think this one should speak to them as well.

1Timothy 4:1-5

4 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, ² speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, ³ forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. ⁴ For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; ⁵ for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

If you can't understand what I'm trying to say.  I'll clarify it for you.  1 Timothy is speaking about the church leaders and those who are mature in their beliefs.

So what I'm trying to say by using these examples is that if the GOP/TP'ers want to claim Christ as who they turn to for their understanding and leadership they have failed miserably.  They have instead shown themselves to be worshippers of the world and worldly things.

So this proves them to be liars.  By using the very Book they claim they are shown to be false teachers and leaders.

So in essence what I'm trying to say is be honest !!!  I'm not trying to say all Democrats are Christians or have to be.  In fact I've met some fine people here on the vine who are atheists, Jews, Muslims, ...  They are honest about their beliefs and I appreciate that, because I understand what they believe then.

The liars who claim one thing then do another concern me.  President Obama says he is a Christian and to me he shows it by not trying to force his beliefs on everyone else.

The conservatives want to try and force their beliefs as the beliefs of the country and that is not what America is all about !!!

So I guess what I'm trying to say is I love the diversity of America, and yet when stuff goes down Americans unite and stand as one.

That is the message I want to give.
