I have been accused by some who claim to be Christians that I am not in Christ because I reject the false teachings of some and actually seek to follow the doctrines of Christ and His Apostles.
While mildly annoying to me personally it is not something that bothers me because I know the deceivers will not like the Truth of God and Christ revealing their lies for what they are. I actually had one tell tell me that "my bibles verses meant nada" I found that rather strange to be coming from one who claims Christ and should know the verses of The Bible come from God's Spirit. Thus it the verses of the Bible that are used to instruct, proof and educate in the Way of Christ and the Old Testament was a picture of what Christ would come and do as he fulfilled the Law and Commandments because man can't.
To actually understand the Bible as I'm given discernment from the Holy Spirit one must look at the impossiblity of man being able to fulfill and follow God's plan on our own since we have already fallen in sin. The Old Testament proves that as time and time again man misunderstood the Way of God and mistook their works as being acceptable to God. They didsn't understand that it was their faith in God that was what delivered them to Him. It is the belief that God will do as he says He will do whether you like it and believe it or not.
To have faith in God means we deny our faith in our ownselves because we are unable to deliver ourselves, and only God can and will deliver us based upon our acceptance of Christ or not. That is hard for many to accept, it was hard for me to accept as well. But I learned that God is faithful to do what He says he will do. He is not a liar.
So geting back to what I was speaking of earlier I will not accept false teachings by anyone because God has given us His word and His Word walked this earth and taught what His Word means. So I will use the Bible to teach and educate when it comes to Him and His way. I will not say one must be a conservative or a liberal to understand it because one must be of God to understand His Word and to follow Him instead of the ways of the world.
2 John 1: 7-11
How many people who claim to be Christians deny that Christ came in the flesh as fully man and fully God ?? They deceive people into thinking that they could be of Christ, yet they do not know The Christ because they deny Who he is.
From the Nelsons Bible Study:
7 One of the stumbling blocks to Christians is the many deceivers who subtly blur the truth about Jesus. Walking in truth means responding to deceivers by guarding against and rejecting them. Coming in the flesh refers to the Incarnation, the fact that Jesus is the God-man. The humanity of Jesus provides a test by which false teachers can be identified. The Gnostic heresy, against which John wrote in 1 and 2 John, included a denial of the physical body of Christ. People who deny the physical reality of Jesus are not Christians, but antichrists
It is not difficult to spot some of the antichrist spirits as they deny the word of God and wish to continue on in greed, or in making Christ into a political party that they are part of. Now before you claim I do that, think carefully. When have I ever said one must be a liberal to be a Christian ?? I never have. I have stated that Christ does not need politics because He is God. I have also said that I don't like the conservatives saying they are the party of God because they are not. God is not a conservative or liberal He is God. One canot place a label on God as being either because God cannot be contained by any man made definition. He is the Creator not of the created and politics are the ways of man.
Don't be deceived by those who think they can persuade you with their words which are outside of Christs' doctrines. Discern what spirit it is they bring and don't lose what you have acheived in Christ. Be faithful to Him in His word and receive your reward in Him.
From the Bible Study:
8 Being seduced by false teachers is one way that Christians can lose their reward at the judgment. With this in mind, John writes that the reason to guard against deceivers is our own desire not to lose our reward at the judgment seat of Christ. Jesus cautioned the church at Philadelphia to "hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown" (see Rev. 3:11). Every believer has the potential of a full reward or a complete loss of reward (see 1 Cor. 3:15). The determining factor is our faithfulness to Christ. Justification is not in view here because it is not something we worked for, but something we received as a gift from God (see Rom. 4:1; Eph. 2:8).
Again false teachers come and tell you you can earn things by your works outside of Christ. What is outside of Christ is burned up and only the things done in Him remain. So though you may do great things outside of Christ they do not remain when we come to Christ for judgement and our rewards or rejection.
The doctrine of Christ is of Him and not false. It does not involve earning ones way to heaven, or being in a certain political party , or having a certain political belief based upon mans ideas, nor does it involve being good enough to warrant being acceptable to Christ, because Christ is Who makes you acceptable through Him. If you Live in Christ you have the Father and Son.
From The Bible study:
9 Transgresses has the strong sense of running too far ahead, going too far. This is probably an allusion to the Gnostics who considered themselves as having advanced beyond basic Christianity. Departure from Christ into doctrinal error indicates that a person does not have God. Love for God means supporting the truth and rejecting those who stand against it.
I think I stand for the truth and do reject those who stand against it, even though it is not popular and has caused some grief. Being in Christ means to be His, not of the world, or not a part timer in Christ and part timer in the world
This was one that really concerned me during the election concerning peoples accepting Romney as their candidate even though they knew his beliefs were of a cult and I spoke out against it and was told that I wasn't a good Christian for going against Romneys beliefs. I didn't and don't want people like him to be my leader. If those who are of a certain political belief want to say he is acceptable to them they can but according to these verses they are bringing evil into their ways.
From the Bible study:
10 This doctrine refers to the Christian belief that Jesus is God come "in the flesh" (v. 7), He is completely human and completely divine. A Christian should not only refuse to receive false teachers in the sense of supporting them while they visit the community, a Christian should also avoid appearing to endorse their teachings. The proper response to deceivers is to reject them as unbelievers. This shows how seriously we should take the Scriptures and how careful we should be in evaluating the teachings of everyone.
11 greets him shares: To greet someone means to identify with that person publicly. This can refer to a personal greeting by an individual (v. 1) or to the church's public welcome of a false teacher (v. 10).
Isn't it funny that so many who thought Romney was acceptable indentified with him publically, yet many True Christians rejected him because of his false belliefs and said publically they would not support him because of his beliefs. Yet we were the ones being called the false Christians, and the ones who were supporting evil by not voting for Romney. Pretty clear hear that we weren't wrong but that they were.
So no this is not political because we are told Biblically to reject those with a false doctrine and to not support them.
This is to wake a few people up and allow them to see that His Truth is what matters not your or my political views.
The times are coming when the tares will be uprooted and the wheat will be harvested, the tares are in the churchs now trying to bring about the doctrines of demons and lies but the Truth of God shines upon the hearts of those who are His and we know His Way is not their way.
