I love when the "conservatives" continue to prove they C I N O's Christians In Name Only. I love it not because I enjoy seeing them embarrassed, although seeing them humbled by their own lies is nice, I love it because it opens the eyes of those who want the Truth and not a political religion that is a lie.
Yesterday I wrote an article regarding conservatism not being Christianity, but being political. Some verses were used in the article to proof that the conservatives cannot claim a biblical backing of there their political beliefs being of Christ. Yes there is a reason for it. The political lies of conservatism should not be allowed to be seen as the Way of Christ because it is a lie.
As we come closer to the day we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ it is important to remember why He came and what He changed. It is not the gifts we buy each other that matter so much. It is the gifts He bought us that matter the most, and He gave His life so we wouldn't have to spend an eternity separated from God by our sins. Christ paid for that and we are registered in His Name, all we have to do is check in with Him and accept His invitation. He'll do the work in us once we allow Him to. You mayask what does this have to do with President Obama's providing health care for all people ?? Be patient and see if the answer comes to you in this article.
Now I have been allowing the conservatives more time to hang themselves with their lies and their innuendos about all the things being wrong in this country. They have tried to lay it at the feet of the liberals who want to help people and think that is what the Bible says to do. Well here is a wake up call for them. President Obama is trying to fulfill something Jesus Christ said to do. The "conservatives" are howling like the wolves in sheeps clothing they are, that president Obama is trying to make this country into a socialist country. No actually he is following the teachings of He who he says He follows Jesus Christ.
Luke 10:29-37
29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" 30 Then Jesus answered and said: "A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. 34 So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you. 36 So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?" 37 And he said, "He who showed mercy on him."
Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."
I know it is hard for you wolves to see the that the president is the Christian and it is you who are the wolves in sheepsclothing and you have been discovered and revealed as to what your real nature is and that is to devour the sheep. Silly wolves did you not know that Christ protects His sheep from the predators like you ?? He sends His out as shepperds to gather the flock and protect them against the ravenous ways of your sins.
Look at the Nelsons Bible study regarding these passages:
10:29 Luke makes it clear that the lawyer was trying to place himself in the position of satisfying the highest demands of the Law. who is my neighbor: This question was an attempt to limit the demands of the Law by suggesting that some people are neighbors while others are not. The lawyer was looking for minimal obedience while Jesus was looking for absolute obedience.
Hahahahaahahahaaaaa !!! Remind you of anyone. Say the GOP/TP'ers who say the poor are to lazy and are not our responsibility ??
10:30 This was a 17 mile journey on a road known to harbor many robbers. They would hide in caves along the way and attack their victims. Jerusalem to Jericho:
Our whole country under conservatism harbors criminals in business suits and lawyers who protect their rights to assail and steal from the people.
10:33Part of the beauty of the story of the Good Samaritan is the reversal of stereotypes. The priest and Levite traditionally would have been the "good guys." The Samaritan would have been a "bad guy," a person who compromised in religious matters. However, the Samaritan knew how to treat his neighbor. The neighbor here was not someone the Samaritan knew or even someone of the same race, just someone in need.
Wow that sure does eliminate most of the conservatives right there doesn't it ??
10:34 Oil was used to soothe wounds. Wine was used as a disinfectant.
He rendered first aid then delivered the man to where he could receive care.
10:35The Samaritan, if he paid a typical rate of one-twelfth of a denarius a day, paid for 24 days at the inn.two denarii . . . I will repay:
Wow you could tell he wasn't a "conservative" because he didn't ask for his insurance first, nor did he say the man was in no shape to work so just let him die, after all he was a stranger.
10:36The central issue is not determining who one's neighbor is, but being a good neighbor to all. which . . . was neighbor:
Something that is lost on the conservatives, we are all neighbors. Jesus Christ didn't say to just take care of those you were related too or those who you thought deserved it.
10:37 The lawyer apparently could not bring himself to say "Samaritan" and lend credence to the surprising reversal of stereotypes in the story. He who showed mercy:
Wow does that fit so many of the right wing shills.
Now after reading all of this if you can still say that president Obama is not a Christian but the GOP/TP'ers are you have a serious recognition problem. Because you can't see the wolves under the sheep skins and you are either going to be their prey, or you are one of them.
Consider this as well if you call yourself one of His who do you serve ?? Him or those who say they know Him but serve mammon ??
From the Nelson Bible study:
The Unnoticed Whom Luke Notices
In Jesus day, the Samaritans were despised by orthodox Jews because most of the Jews from that region had intermarried with foreigners. The irony of the parable of the Good Samaritan is that a scorned Samaritan knows how to show love to his neighbor, whereas a priest and Levite, who had intimate knowledge of Gods law, do not. The Book of Luke highlights Jesus love for a variety of groups who were not esteemed in His day.
Women:
The widow of Nain
The sinner who anoints Jesus feet
Women disciples
The woman searching for her lost coin
The persistent widow petitioning the unjust judge
The sorrowful women along the way to the Cross
The women who discover the empty tomb
Social Outcasts:
Shepherds
The poor
The Samaritans
Tax collectors and "sinners"
Lepers
Gentiles
Is it any different today ??
