What is it with those "right wing conservatives" who think they have to shape God instead of allowing God to shape them ??  I mean we have the scriptures to read and to understand what God requires of us.  God made it really easy in the New Testament.  Believe in and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and we are saved by Him.  He will change us we don't change Him.  We don't change to come to Him, we can't because if we could why would we need Him to change us ?? 

The "right wing conservatives" are being used by God, just not as they think they are.  They think they are standing as a beacon of light in Him, but instead are showing they are just a burned out light house empty and dark with nothing to offer as a beacon of light for those headed for the rocky shoals they are on themselves.

But yet in statement after statement I see "conservatives" who try and change people instead of allowing them to get to know Christ and be changed by Him.  Now I have a lot of friends on the Vine who are atheists, I don't try to change their beliefs to what I believe, nor do I try to tell them how evil their unbelief is by beating them up with scriptures that say they are going to hell unless they conform to my way of thinking.  They may never accept what I believe to be true, but I'm not going to try and make myself look like I have all the answers, because I don't.  But I know Him that does, and in Him I'm comfortable loving them as they are, just as He loved us as we were before we came to Him.  

So does that make me a liberal ??  No, it makes me one of His because I do it through Him not anything of the flesh, because in the flesh I would be insecure and feel threatened by their beliefs.  I would have to tell them all how they were inferior to me because my beliefs were the only ones who were right.  In all truth there are some very intelligent non believers out there, and I could not debate with them on an intellectual basis and proof God or Christ.  Now I don't consider myself to be of low intelligence, but discussing higher mathematics and scientific theory is not my strong point at all.  But telling what Christ has done in my life and how He has shaped me into who I am in Him, yeah I can hold my own.

So back to the subject at hand.  How does trying to shape God into the image of a right wing conservative serve His purpose ??  In what universe do you or anyone else believe that conservatism somehow equals perfection ??  First off if the "consrvatives" really accept God and Jesus Christ they would acknowledge that only in Christ is there salvation and we are perfected through Him not conservatism or liberalism.  Now if they don't and are only trying to use Christ as a false flag to rally the "religious right" to their side for the political clout they have already been proven to be liars, and they should be dumped by those conservatives who are of Christ and reject political gain through Him and His Name as being the reason we believe in Him.

People get me mixed up with being a "liberal" all the time because I stand for God and not man made religion and the lies of control that are used by the "religious right" in order to further their political agenda.  I would actually rather see people be no party and vote for what is best for the many than to just vote along party lines. 

Some people think I actually approve of homosexuality as being of Gods' will.  I don't, but I believe that God uses everyone as He Created them for His purpose, and as such they are no less used by God than I  or anyone else is.  You see, I have faith in Him not man or our ways because we always manage to let our stupidity get in God's way as we try to lead everybody to our plan instead of His.

So I really wish the "right wing conservatives" would get off of beating a dead horse and claiming they are leading the way of God with their "conservative" social beliefs and their lackluster financial dealings that have brought this nation and the world to the edge of financial ruin all in the name of greed and control by the wealthy and unloving who believe the end justifies the means of achieving their goals.

They too are being used by God to show many how not to behave in His Name.  It's funny that they want to make homosexuality and austerity their points.  Neither are of God, and both focus on individual beliefs as being unacceptable or the only way. 

Favoring the wealthy or the poor does not solve any problems it only makes them worse.  Denying one group of people their individual God given rights, even if they don't believe in Him, does not show the Love of God but the pettiness of those who say they serve Him.
