First off, this should come as no big surprise to people if they are aware of my beliefs at all. I stand where I stand based upon my beliefs in God, Christ and The Holy Spirit. That irritates some people, because they think I should be held just by the Constitution first and foremost. The freedom of speech and the freedom of religious beliefs are the base of this great nation we live in called the United States of America.
There were and are very good reasons those beliefs were placed first. Without those two freedoms you really have no other freedoms, because if we are not allowed to speak out against a government, how could we ever be free to address the power they continue to amass against us. Also without the freedom of religion the government could enforce a state controlled religion and force all people to bow to their religious beliefs like Constantine did in Rome. By saying people must accept Christianity or die. Constantine made a religion out of Christ instead of a Way to Life in Him. Now I realize that will not be popular with many who like to think they practice Christianity based upon a certain denominational belief. I'm sorry you can't see where the problem with that comes in.
People have been practicing a religion based upon things that God did not want forced upon the Believers of Christ since that time. The Way of Christ has been watered down by those who were forced to believe by a government based religion. So yes, I'm politically incorrect in that I don't want nor will I back a government based religion like that being touted by the "conservatives" or "liberals" that places the right of the state to decide what we should believe above what God says we are to believe.
The churches today are tied in with the politicians through tax laws. They preach political messages based upon what will secure their financial well being above what the Truth of God is through Christ. Oh yes, they may say the words, but they dilute the message to be a political one instead of the Word of God in Christ. So I'm politically incorrect, because I reject their message of political "christianity" and I cry out for God to bring His Light to the darkness they call His Way.
Psalm 146: 1-10
1 Praise the Lord!Praise the Lord, O my soul!
2 While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
3 Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; In that very day his plans perish.
5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them;
7 Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who keeps truth forever,
8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.
The Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.
9 The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked He turns upside down.

The warnings here are clear. Trust in God. Not in the princes, not in a son of man-Jesus Christ is the Son of God - because in man there is no promise of life. But in God there is the promise of life. God is aware of the evil that men do and claim to do in His Name as well. He opens the eyes of those who call for His Way to become the Way of their life. God watches over even we who are not the Jews -the strangers- who were not given His Law as the Jews were. But He has given us the Redeemer in Jesus Christ for all people both Jew and gentile-all those who are not Jews-. So to God should go all the praise and glory for this country and the freedoms we have. But many do not see it that way. They wish to give glory to men and women and laws that do not keep us free, but indeed corrode the very freedoms we received.
Have we not seen the gradual breakdown since the murders of the Kennedy's and the unpunished criminal behavior of Richard Nixon. Haven't all the political parties, seen since then that they can do what they wish without being held responsible, almost as if they are princes in America instead of elected leaders who were to be representatives of the people instead of the corporations. Don't get me wrong, I think the Republicans have had much to do with this, but the Democrats are not innocent and have gone along with some of the lunacy since the people have become so concerned with self wealth and greed instead of a strong nation and a strong middle class.
Isaiah 41:10-13
10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
11 "Behold, all those who were incensed against you
Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing,
And those who strive with you shall perish.
12 You shall seek them and not find them-
Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing,
As a nonexistent thing.
In 2 Peter 1:5-11 we who are in Christ are told this.
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
For those who believe in God's promises including the Salvation given in Christ. We have nothing to fear from those who would make this world their kingdom. They perish. That does not mean we want them to perish, it means we believe that what God says will happen and we know Him to be True. So our faith is in Him and not mankind and their deceptions. Thus again I will say I'm politically incorrect. I know the people in charge were put there for God's reasons not mine. I really want people to understand that God is in charge not man. So I guess that makes me politically incorrect as well.
2 Corinthians 5:16-17
16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Regarding people according the flesh as I understand it means whether or not they are Jew or Gentile, because Christ saved all of us. Thus if we are believers in Christ all things from the past our sins, our beliefs in things outside of Christ being able to save us have been declared dead in us, we live in Christ. In Him we are a new creation, so we are not of this world but are still in this world.
That is why I see things the way I do. I used to see them the way that those not in Christ saw them, so I understand and have empathy and mercy in my heart for most of them. But then again I'm not politically correct.
I hope this article explains how I and some like me understand being politically incorrect can mean that many will not accept our beliefs because it goes against their relgious, or their lack of religious beliefs. It is not meant as condemnation, but instead as illumination as to what those who know Him can see going on and possibly give light to others to see as well.
