I ran across this story on MS Cyprah's column.  So I watched the video and listened to this so called pastor spew his muck of propaganda.  I know that people-right wing theocrats- think it is okay to bash the president for standing up and saying if we are a country who believes in freedom we must allow those with whom we don't agree the same rights we have.   As a Christian I'm apalled at the level of hatred being directed at our president by the dominionists.  Please watch the video and listen at the end when he talks about the statehouse and the church house. He also talks about the tares in the church and how God is going to replace them.  The man shows he has little understanding at all.  Another thing it doesn't matter what color ones skin is God looks at the spirit and soul of people.

God never says anything about replacing the tares.  Matthew 13:24-30

²⁴ Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; ²⁵ but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. ²⁶ But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. ²⁷ So the servants of the owner came and said to him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares? ²⁸ He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Do you want us then to go and gather them up? ²⁹ But he said, No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. ³⁰ Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn." "

The tares will be gathered up and burned .  The pastor should understand that since he seems like he may be a tare. The guy speaks like a dominionist, and dominionists are not of Christ they are of His enemy. For dominionists believe they have to make the earth prepared for Christ to return.  That is what the anti-christ does with his reign.  He is the final ruler before the return of Christ.

This guy also talks about homosexuality as if voting for president Obama was saying we Christians think homosexuality should be allowed in the church.  I voted for president Obama and I don't believe homosexuality should be allowed in the church any more than I think greed, adultery, gluttony, coveteousness, political religion, ... should be allowed in Christs church.

Outside of the church, who am I to say what people can or can't do as far as their sex lives as long as they involve no children, force people to participate, or engage with animals it is between them, their partners, and God.  They will answer to God for their decisions, they do not answer to me or you.  So why should I try to force them to believe as I do.  Let them live as they will, God works in His time not mine, He will reach them when He knows they  are ready.  

I think people like this guy do more damage than good because all they do is turn people away from the truth and towards a works righteousness based belief. 

When pastors like that say they are not getting political they are.

From 2 Timothy 3:10-17  We are told that believers will go through things but God will lead us therough it. We are also told evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. We are also told that His word is up to the task to teach, correct, reproof and establish Christs' doctrine.  So that the man of God may be complete and thouroughly equipped for every good work.

¹⁰ But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, ¹¹ persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra-what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. ¹² Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. ¹³ But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. ¹⁴ But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, ¹⁵ and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. ¹⁶ All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, ¹⁷ that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

 The warning was well given because the times are here and we see them being glorified by those who believe in the lies of the tares.

2 Timothy 4:1-5

4 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: ² Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. ³ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; ⁴ and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

⁵ But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
